2. The Airport pickup is a service that we offer free of charge, including ASH accommodation package. The average cost of transportation from Kingsford Smith international airport to Sydney CBD during the pick hour of international arrivals is about $120 AUD, using services such as Uber or dedicated airport transport.
3. You will receive upon arrival at the Airport a free sim card from us, with your new Australian phone number, which is included in your package. This gives you unlimited internet and international calls to countries such as Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, Chile, Ecuador, Turkey, Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia. Also, the cost for the first month of service has been paid, and you can automatically extend it after the first month and maintain your service and number. It is essential to have a number upon arrival, as you will need it for securing employment, opening a bank account, and many other items.
4. We do open a bank account for you in advance of your arrival, and as soon as signing up for ASH accommodation services, your account will be with CBA (Commonwealth Bank of Australia). The branch is located in CBD (Center Business District), which is very close to all the colleges and public transport. Your ATM card from your saving account will be handed to you upon arrival at your house, and we will show you how to set up your online access and PIN number.
5. We show you how to get around Sydney and use the public transport systems while showing you key sites of Sydney. Sydney is a vast city and has several different methods of public transport, including Ferry, train, tram, and buses, and they all connect with one card called OPAL. So, we will offer you an Opal card that will help you add credit to it by using your bank account online and moving around Sydney, and we will take you to your school for orientation.
