IHA is incredibly proud to celebrate the opening of four new Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) homes in Werrington alongside our valued partners.

The Open Day was a wonderful opportunity to bring together future tenants, families, industry partners, support providers, and stakeholders to walk through the homes, connect with one another, and recognise the collaboration that made this project possible.

Working closely with Cura Ability Developments, and Westbury Constructions, these homes have been thoughtfully designed to support people with disability to live with greater independence, comfort, dignity, and connection to their community. From accessible layouts and assistive technology readiness through to warm, contemporary living spaces, every detail has been considered to help create a true sense of home.

With Thorndale Foundation supporting the homes as the Supported Independent Living (SIL) provider, future tenants will have access to experienced, participant-focused supports that promote independence, choice, and quality of life within a safe and welcoming environment.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in bringing this vision to life and to all who attended the Open Day to support this important milestone. We’re excited to see the positive impact these homes will have for current and future residents.
