IHA is incredibly proud to celebrate the opening of four new Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) homes in Werrington alongside our valued partners.

The Open Day was a wonderful opportunity to bring together future tenants, families, industry partners, support providers, and stakeholders to walk through the homes, connect with one another, and recognise the collaboration that made this project possible.

Working closely with Cura Ability Developments, and Westbury Constructions, these homes have been thoughtfully designed to support people with disability to live with greater independence, comfort, dignity, and connection to their community. From accessible layouts and assistive technology readiness through to warm, contemporary living spaces, every detail has been considered to help create a true sense of home.

With Thorndale Foundation supporting the homes as the Supported Independent Living (SIL) provider, future tenants will have access to experienced, participant-focused supports that promote independence, choice, and quality of life within a safe and welcoming environment.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in bringing this vision to life and to all who attended the Open Day to support this important milestone. We’re excited to see the positive impact these homes will have for current and future residents.

Werrington SDA Open Day - You’re Invited!

We’re proud to be opening the doors to our newest Specialist Disability Accommodation homes at King Central, Werrington.

These purpose-built High Physical Support homes have been thoughtfully designed to deliver more than just compliance, they offer a genuine sense of home, with accessible layouts, modern finishes, assistive technology readiness, and spaces that support both independence and 24/7 care.
Delivered in partnership with Thorndale Foundation as the SIL provider, this site brings together quality housing, experienced support, and a well-connected location within the growing Kings Central community.

This open day is an opportunity for our Future Tenants, Support Coordinators, Participants, Families, and Industry Professionals to:

Inclusive Housing Australia (IHA) was at the Have Your Say Conference in Geelong!

It was a valuable opportunity to connect with participants, families, support coordinators, providers, and sector leaders, and to be part of important conversations around choice, inclusion, and the future of disability support.

We appreciated the chance to listen and learn on how all roles with the sector can support independence, dignity, and long-term outcomes for people with a disability. Events like this reinforce the importance of collaboration across the sector to ensure participant voices remain at the centre of everything we do.
