Working with those who have endured adversity, such as those who have fled their place of birth, is a fundamental part of our mission at TQN. As a result of these hardships, migrants have learned to quickly adjust to their new surroundings and alter their way of life.

Having refugees as part of the workforce provides cultural and linguistic links to the community, creates connections and improves understanding of customer needs and how to meet them.

The experience of surviving a refugee’s journey can be an indicator of a level of courage and resilience that constitute
beneficial traits in an employee. These experiences also develop a person’s problem-solving skills and adaptability to
change.
Like many other migrants, refugees are fluent in more than one language. This demonstrates a learning agility that
can enable them to succeed at work, and in some workplaces, they may even be able to leverage their language
capacities directly – for example, to communicate with customers or clients who share their native language.
