Link in bio to make a submission against this dodgy heritage listing.

There’s a proposal to heritage list this blighted industrial site in Harris Park, that has somehow been gerrymandered into a listing for some colonial cottages around it. The catch: there’s no actual good reason for it, they’re only doing it because somebody’s proposed 4-8 storey units for the site with 50% affordable housing.

Tell the government you oppose the listing so we get the development at 2a Gregory Place, Harris Park built!

NIMBYs are spamming Council with complaints about the Bondi Junction masterplan that they didn’t even write. You go to their site, tick a box about what you want to whinge about, and Claude AI does the rest. This puts the plan for 3000 homes at risk.

Our Secretary Dom Behrens on ABC Radio this morning talking about his new article: Against ‘Affordable’ Housing, which argues we should be taking cash contributions to spend on social housing instead of creating $900 ‘affordable’ 1br units in Bondi.

We need you to take 2 mins to write an email in favour of this development by the govt’s public housing arm. Some of their previous projects have been significantly downsized in response to community opposition and we don’t want that to happen here.
