Presently obsessed with cane, rattan, bamboo and all things with a woven pattern. My grandmother had an original bamboo setting - a couple if armchairs and a sofa- we used to nap on as kids and adults too! It was sometimes upholstered a different colour if ashe grew tired if the fabric or wanted a fresh new look - she whipped up some slip covers. And it was always filled with soft feather colorful cushions made with amazing finds of remnant fabric like finding buried treasure in a basket near the cashier till at the craft store. Now I, too, have an 'sunroom verandah' setting in wicker cane that gets a change out every now and then - and makes for the perfect afternoon nap!
