Farewell Holy Cow
This has been our final cruise on Holy Cow.
“Bittersweet”…. That’s how a couple of friends have described this trip, and it is.
We’ve just completed a Southport Qld-Sydney delivery introducing new owners Sue & Jeremy to Holy Cow.
Over the 17 years that we’ve been sailing this particular Holy Cow we’ve logged almost 70,000nm, going south to Melbourne & Hobart and north every year to the Whitsundays, and sometimes further to Townsville & Cairns.
There have been so many shared good times on board- club racing & regattas, even a Hobart the first year we had her, winters in North Queensland, years of Whitsunday regattas, cow themed Prix d’Elegance dress ups, island hopping deliveries, and some of the very best times were at the dock just being part of the marina community.
A look back through the photos of people, places & races on facebook tells Holy Cow’s story.
We’ll keep the page up and Sue & Jeremy will probably start a new one to continue Holy Cow’s adventures.
If you see the Cow anywhere (she’s destined for Melbourne ultimately) please say hello to her new owners Sue & Jeremy, they are lovely people.
