PDOT–Sydney welcomed Ms Gabrielle Vicari, Vice President for Australia, New Zealand and the Southwestern Pacific of Airline Rep Services, together with Ms Krystle Ramirez-Gastrock, following Philippine Airlines’ partnership with Airline Rep Services.

The courtesy call provided an opportunity to exchange updates on the New Zealand market, one of Airline Rep Services’ key representative jurisdictions, and to discuss the PDOT–Sydney Office’s Tourism Beyond Leisure approach.

With Philippine Airlines and Airline Rep Services working in closer partnership, we look forward to strengthening connectivity, trade engagement and awareness of the many experiences awaiting travellers in the Philippines.

Congratulations, Philippine Airlines, on bringing more flights between Australia and The Philippines. It is truly right to celebrate your 55 years connecting Melbourne and Manila!

Philippine Airlines will launch daily Manila-Melbourne flights starting November 19, 2026, up from five weekly flights, ahead of the year-end holiday season and coinciding with PAL's 55th anniversary serving Melbourne.

Join us for the Puerto Galera Underwater Shootout 2026, happening from September 16 to 20, 2026 in Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro, where professional and amateur underwater photographers, divers, and ocean enthusiasts from around the world will gather for five days of competition, camaraderie, and unforgettable underwater adventures.

Set against the breathtaking marine biodiversity of Puerto Galera, the shootout will showcase the destination’s vibrant reefs, fascinating macro subjects, and diverse marine life through the lens of underwater storytelling.

Known as the gateway to the “Center of the Center” of Marine Biodiversity and recognized as the Best Diving Destination at the DOT Tourism Awards 2025, Puerto Galera offers a spectacular backdrop for capturing the beauty of the Philippines’ underwater world.
