# Pakistan Showcases Food Products at Fine Food Australia 2026
H.E. Mr Irfan Shaukat, High Commissioner of Pakistan to Australia, visited the Pakistan Pavilion at Fine Food Australia 2026, accompanied by Mr Qamar Zaman, Consul General of Pakistan, Sydney, and Mr Wajid Hassan Hashmi, Consul General of Pakistan, Melbourne. He met with the Pakistani exhibitors and discussed opportunities to expand Pakistan’s food and agricultural exports to Australia.
The Pakistan Pavilion, organised by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), features 10 Pakistani companies: Golden Harvest Foods (Pvt) Ltd, Durvesh International, Fruiticana Foods, Kausar Rice & General Mills, Khairpur Foods International, RAD International, Vital Products Pvt Ltd, Matco Foods, Mojza and Co, Bell More Aromatics. In addition Igloo Ice Cream, and Hub Salt are also exhibiting in the Fine Food, 2026, privately.
The High Commissioner received feedback from the exhibitors on their engagement with Australian buyers and the opportunities and challenges they are experiencing in the market. He encouraged exporters to adopt a market-focused, long-term approach, with particular emphasis on building strong relationships with Australian importers and distributors.
H.E. Mr Irfan Shaukat also stressed the importance of consistent product quality and reliable supply to build confidence among Australian buyers and establish Pakistan as a dependable supplier.
The discussions also explored practical ways to strengthen Pakistan–Australia trade, including improving importer-exporter linkages and expanding market opportunities for value-added Pakistani food products.
Pakistani Mission in Australia will continue to support Pakistani exporters in establishing business connections with Australian importers and distributors and in converting participation in international exhibitions into sustainable export opportunities.
