Become a Peer Tutor and help other students succeed — while getting paid. If you achieved a Credit, Distinction or High Distinction, you can sign up to tutor UTS students in subjects you’ve already completed.

UTS knew what needed to change. It accepted 35 recommendations. It implemented none.

The UTSSA and students across UTS have been raising concerns about gender-based violence for years. It should not take going to the National Student Ombudsman to be taken seriously.

Students should not be threatened for speaking about their own experiences. And they should not be waiting years for change that was already agreed to.

UTS: implement the recommendations. Take responsibility. Make campus safe.

If your complaint has not been handled properly, you can go to the National Student Ombudsman: nso.gov.au

You deserve better than “in progress.”
