The Dust Diseases Board Research Stream Grants Program is now open. This funding, administered by icare, is offered for early-stage innovations, translating research into policy and practice, and strengthening prevention and exposure control.
Previous DDB-funded projects have delivered important advances in occupational health. One example is the ๐hest diagnosis: a ๐igh-level ๐ducation ๐ฆ๐งrategy (CHEST) study led by the University of Sydney, which explored the use of artificial intelligence to assist clinicians in identifying dust-related lung disease through chest imaging.
