Today, on National Sorry Day, we remember the pain and injustice experienced by the Stolen Generations and acknowledge the ongoing impact this trauma continues to have on First Nations families and communities.

It is a day to listen, reflect and recommit ourselves to truth-telling, healing and reconciliation.

We honour the strength and resilience of survivors and recognise that reconciliation requires not only remembrance but meaningful action and understanding.
