This week is School Support Recognition Week — a chance to honour the incredible contribution that school administrative and support staff (SASS) and all non‑teaching staff make to NSW public education.

At Baulkham Hills North, we are truly fortunate to have an exceptional team of School Learning Support Officers, a highly capable Business Manager, a dedicated School Administrative Manager, caring School Administrative Assistants, a passionate Community Engagement Officer, and hardworking General and IT Assistants. Each one of them plays a vital role in creating the warm, welcoming and well‑organised environment our students experience every day.

They are often the first friendly faces to greet parents and carers, the steady hands supporting students in their learning, the calm reassurance when a child is hurt or worried, and the organisational backbone that keeps our school running smoothly. They maintain our facilities, manage communication, assist teachers, nurture student wellbeing and help make our school a place where every child feels safe, supported and known.

Their work may sometimes happen behind the scenes, but its impact is felt everywhere - in the confidence of our students, the connection of our families, and the sense of belonging that defines Baulkham Hills North.

We thank them sincerely for being invaluable members of our school community...Happy School Support Recognition Week!

What a 'cracking' Father’s Day Breakfast we had this morning! And not just because of the 432 breakfast orders and all the bacon & egg rolls flying off the BBQ!
Hundreds of dads gathered in the hall before school, courtesy of our incredible Baulkham Hills North Public School P&C who once again pulled off an event that brought our whole community together.

This year’s breakfast had an extra layer of meaning as we supported Jersey Day - a colourful reminder to celebrate life and raise awareness for organ donation. Seeing dads and kids in their favourite team colours, sharing food and laughter, was truly something special. We were also moved by the heartfelt message shared by BHNPS parent, Belinda, reminding us why days like this matter. Her words added a beautiful personal touch to the morning and we thank her so much for bravely sharing her inspiring story.

Well done to the Korean Choir and Performance Choir for their gorgeous singing - your beautiful performances filled the hall and made the whole morning even more special. And thank you to all the dads, father figures, grandads, uncles, and loved ones who joined us - your presence is what makes days like this truly memorable. A huge extra thanks to our P&C and the dozens of mums who volunteered their time. You don’t just bring people together, you make our school feel like family.

Happy Father’s Day!

Congratulations to our incredible Stage 2, Stage 3 and Boys Dance groups on their outstanding performances last night at the Hills Performing Arts Festival!

After months of rehearsals, dedication and hard work at school, our talented dancers took to the stage at Penrith Panthers and absolutely shone! Performing alongside nine other schools from across the Hills District, our students showcased their talent, confidence and incredible energy in a wonderful evening filled with music, movement and joy.
A special congratulations to Mysha and Sophie, who did a fantastic job as MCs for the evening, confidently beginning and ending the evening.

We are also incredibly grateful to Miss Maddy and Miss Claire for their amazing choreography of the routines and to our wonderful dance teachers - Miss Gallegos, Mrs Padayachy, Miss Finch and Miss Sammes - for their leadership, encouragement and commitment to nurturing our students' passion for dance. An extra special shout-out to Miss Sammes for her tremendous coordination of this wonderful event. Bringing together so many performers and schools is no small feat!

We are so proud of every one of our dancers for representing our school on this stage. What a fabulous night!

Kindergarten and Year 6 have been thoroughly enjoying their 'buddy time' this year. Last Thursday, KS and 6TG made the most of their special buddy time in our beautiful outdoor learning spaces, laughing and sharing some very cute picture books and enjoying some quality connection time.

This moment was about so much more than reading - it was building confidence, strengthening relationships and creating special friendships across our school. What a wonderful way to learn, connect and grow together!

Flying cars? We wish! Until cars can fly, be part of the solution in our congested Kiss and Drop area. Park & walk or drive around the block. Help keep our kids safe!

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to seven outstanding Year 6 students who were presented with the prestigious Baulkham Hills North Public School Medal at a special Medal Assembly this morning.

These students have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to our school community over many years, consistently living our core values of Truth, Respect, Responsibility, Kindness, Effort and Loyalty. They have proudly represented BHNPS across sport, public speaking and the performing arts, while also being wonderful role models for younger students through their everyday actions at school.

We are incredibly proud of each of these students - this special accolade is a wonderful recognition of their achievements, their contribution to Baulkham Hills North and the example they set for others. They are truly deserving of this honour.

A very special thank you to all the parents, family and friends who joined us to celebrate this important milestone, and thank you to our talented Performance Recorder Group and Performance Choir who added joy to our special morning!
