🎭3 Poppy Drama Highlights! 🎭
Our students have been experimenting with movement and facial expression to communicate actions and situations. They’ve engaged with drama from different cultural and historical contexts, and explored how movement and gesture express meaning in mime.

Our school is participating in the QBD book week competition from 22nd to 28th August.
A flyer is going home with your child today.
If you can, please take the flyer into any QBD store and hand it to the workers for a chance of winning $1000 for our school library.
No need to make a purchase!
Spare flyers will be available in the school office if needed. You can go back and drop off as many flyers as you want throughout the week. The more flyers our students drop off the more chance we have of winning!

O U R C O M M U N I T Y, M A N Y S T O R I E S
Our school is excited to be taking part in the 2027 Cultural Diversity Calendar Competition, which celebrates the many cultures, languages and stories that make our school communities special.
Our school mascot, Tilly the Turtle, is at the centre of the artwork. Behind Tilly, our EAL/D students have created a colourful collage of flags representing their different cultural backgrounds.
The artwork shows that while our students come from many different places and cultures, they are all an important part of our school community. It celebrates how our different cultures, experiences and stories come together to make our community stronger.

Violet, Iris and Lavender made a splash at Swim School! We dived into learning water safety and swimming skills over 2 weeks of lessons. We loved being in the water and everyone made amazing improvements over the fortnight. We’re thankful for the School Sport unit for running this amazing program!
