So this just happened......

The crew of HMAS Parramatta IV officially became the crew of HMAS Warramunga. Over the ensuing days, we will gradually migrate to the HMAS Warramunga page.

Last week, HMAS Parramatta IV were humbled to host the Ship's Lady, Mrs Jill Green. Commanding Officer, Commander David Murphy, presented Mrs Green with the ship's weight to be held in her safe custody while HMAS Parramatta progresses through the ANZAC Midlife Capability Assurance Program.

This was a fantastic opportunity to congratulate the achievements of the our personnel who were presented the following awards:
SMNCSO Kilner - HMAS Parramatta Sailor of the Quarter
LSMT Kluska - HMAS Parramatta Harold Moss Award 2022 (Sailor of the Year)
LEUT Ukmar - HMAS Parramatta Lieutenant Bill Langford Award (Officer of the Year)

Of course, as always, these opportunities are traditionally celebrated with cupcakes made by HMAS Parramatta IV Maritime Logistic Chefs.

Chief of Navy, Vice Admiral Mark Hammond, AM, RAN, speaks with ship's company at a clear lower during an official visit onboard HMAS Parramatta IV while alongside Fleet Base East, Sydney. It was also a perfect opportunity to present some honours and awards.

Congratulations to the following crew members of HMAS Parramatta IV for their dedication and duty.
