✨ Television as a means of cultural promotion was the subject of yesterday's meeting entitled “Adventures watching 1960s Italian television” within the “My Italian Connections” series, organised in collaboration with the Italian Consulate General in Sydney 🇮🇹

In the presence of NSW Minister for the Arts, The Hon. John Graham, and Consul General of Italy in Sydney, Dr. Gianluca Rubagotti, the historian Emma Barron revisited the iconic “Carosello” advertisements, which brought back many fond childhood memories and sparked lively conversations throughout the evening 📺✨

Through rare clips and insightful discussion, the event offered an inspiring journey into a unique moment of Italian cultural history and television entertainment.

A heartfelt thank you to Emma Barron for her lecture and to everyone who joined us for this special evening at the Italian Cultural Institute ❤️
