More examples of the rampant drug using in Mascot.

Many asked, why am I calling on Meriton to do something about it.

1. The Police can’t’ be everywhere - a security guard can intervene immediately and escalate situations to police in Mascot Central when it comes to anti-social behaviour and drug taking.

2. Mascot Central is private property.

3. This drug taking is happening in full view of families and children.

I will never apologize for standing up for the safety of people in Mascot, especially families and children.

For those calling me cold-hearted, that’s fine. I’d rather be called that and keep our community safe rather than allow it to be overrun by drug addicts and criminals.

We need Meriton and the NSW Police Force to ensure the safety of our community in Mascot.

Drug taking has now become rampant in this area.

This is why I asked Bayside Council to write to Meriton to ask for a full-time security guard for Mascot central.

After making, I’m sure millions of dollars off apartments in the area, they with police are responsible for security for this area.

Over the months we have seen drug taking and youth gangs robbing and harassing people.

This is a dangerous situation and enough is enough.

If you do see anything like this please call Crime Stoppers on 131 444 or 000 if it’s an emergency.

I am sharing this video to the community to ensure they are vigilant in and around our area.

I have asked Bayside Council to take this up with police command urgently.

Update on Wolli Creek Pedestrian Safety.

Transport for NSW said they will undertake a review.

That is not enough. We need action now. We cannot wait for the outcomes of another review.

That is why, subject to agreement, I have asked Bayside Council to write to the State Government urgently install bollards to protect pedestrians.

Sad news of a pedestrian hit and killed at the corner of Coward Street and Botany Road in Mascot today.

Whilst the circumstances are unclear, please be careful if you are a pedestrian and driver.
