When freedom of press is under threat - in many countries than ever - redefining the role of journalists, writers, blog writers, youtube posers and social media influencers is underway as a necessity. We are sad that compromises with Govts happening, as Govts all over the world are trying to suppress dissenting opinions. Russia's post start of Ukraine war censorship is well known. In China media is totally controlled. India's take down orders for 1000s of accounts of twitter/facebook etc. for frivolous reasons and also the defamation cases are threatening the basis of democracy here. USA is pursuing criminal cases against wiki leaks founder for exposing the atrocities in Govt functioning.
