Today’s Coffee Club destination was Fork and Spoon Café — and what a lovely choice! ❤️

Our clients enjoyed catching up over coffee, delicious treats and plenty of good conversation. But it seems the beautiful waterfront views stole the show!😍🌿

🌿 A Journey into History at Parramatta Female Factory 🌿

Yesterday, our Community Wheels clients had the opportunity to step back in time and explore one of Australia’s most significant women’s convict sites — the Parramatta Female Factory.

The site holds a powerful history of punishment, labour, confinement, childbirth, survival, resistance and resilience. Its stories are an important part not only of Parramatta’s history, but of Australia’s broader story.

Our clients were fortunate to take part in a fascinating guided tour led by the wonderful volunteers from Parramatta Female Factory Friends Inc. (PFFF). Their passion and dedication to researching, protecting and sharing the stories of the women and children connected to the Parramatta Female Factory and Institutions Precinct brought the history to life.

A big thank you to the PFFF volunteers for sharing your knowledge, stories and time with our clients. ❤️

It was a meaningful and memorable day of learning, connection and community — another wonderful outing with Community Wheels! 🚌💙

Today, our Community Wheels clients enjoyed a lovely outing at Brunch Cafe & Grill in Sefton. 🍳🥗🍔🍝🍰

With a wide range of delicious options, from breakfast and healthy salads to mouth-watering burgers and wraps, creamy pasta, chef’s special mains and tempting desserts, there was something for everyone! 😋

🏛️ A Journey Through Medical History at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital! 🩺

Yesterday, our Community Wheels clients visited Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and explored the fascinating RPA Museum, which preserves the rich history and heritage of one of Australia’s leading hospitals.

The museum features interesting displays on nursing, medicine and social history, with two exhibition rooms located inside the original 1941 heritage-listed operating theatres.

It was a wonderful opportunity for our clients to step back in time, discover stories from the past and learn more about the history of healthcare in Australia. ❤️

A fascinating visit filled with history, memories and plenty to talk about!
