As part of the 14km Coffs Harbour Bypass - one of Australia's largest infrastructure projects - Borger Cranes contributed to over twenty bridge and major lift operations along the route.
At Roberts Hill, the brief was precise: install two technical modules, each nearly 20 metres long and weighing up to 47.2 tonnes, onto elevated steel posts - with fixing tolerances measured in millimetres.

The LIEBHERR LTM1500 was rigged overnight. Eight lift points. A test-lift. Then the real thing - twice, back to back, on a schedule that allowed no downtime between placements.

Precision isn't just a word for us. On jobs like this, it's the only way the work gets done.

As part of the massive Coffs Harbour Bypass project, our team was on site to place two technical modules onto elevated steel posts using the LIEBHERR LTM1500. Each module was nearly 20 metres long and weighed up to 47.2 tonnes - and every fixing point had to land within millimetres.

Eight lift points, a test-lift, and a tight back-to-back schedule. When both modules were down, the crane came apart, the equipment was packed away, and the crew headed off to the next job.

Borger Cranes made the trip to collect their brand-new Drake 4x4 Full Widener and 2x4 Dolly - and it was well worth the wait!

Ordered in January, delivered in May. That's the stock unit advantage. This rig has been customised to 3.6m wide, with hydraulic suspension, a sliding skid plate, a full greasing system, and a whole lot more.

Serious kit, built to go straight to work.

We recently helped place a Buddha statue at the Fo Guang Shan Chung Tian Temple in Priestdale - and it's one of those jobs that reminds you why we love what we do.

The Grove GMK6450-1 was set up with a 55-metre luffing jib and 135 tonnes of counterweight to place the 5.4-tonne statue at a radius of 60 metres.
