1st Balcombe Heights Scout Group Our Scout Group is located in Baulkham Hills, NSW.

Joeys 5-8 yrs, Mon 5-6.30pm
Cubs 8-11 yrs, Mon 6.45-8.15pm
Scouts 11-14yrs, Thurs 7-9pm
Venturers 14-17yrs, Wed 7-9pm
Teaching boys & girls 5-18 yrs old leadership, teamwork and life skills.

One of our Scouting families have been working together to exhibit at the Lego exhibition at Berowra Uniting Church every year since 2016. This year it fell on World Scout Day!
Each year they pack the car full of LEGO and set up one or two display tables to showcase their creations and share their passion for LEGO with visitors and fellow exhibitors.
Over the years they have also helped run the GBC table first with their Rainbow Wave module, and more recently with a Rainbow Stepper module, which has been a real crowd favourite.
It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with the LEGO community, inspire others, and represent our Scout Group while sharing their creativity and teamwork.

The Cubs had a fantastic night learning about snakes and blue-tongue lizards, as well as discovering how pinball machines work and having plenty of fun playing them. A big thank you to Buddha from the 2nd Northmead Scout Group for hosting us and sharing such an interesting and enjoyable experience. Everyone had a great time and learned something new!

Congratulations to our Venturer Cameron and his Vennie team on the successful completion of Cameron’s Adventurous Journey at Myall Lakes National Park!
Cameron showed outstanding adventurous spirit as he planned, organised, and led the four-day canoe expedition, camping at new locations each evening. The Myall Lakes is a truly special place, and throughout the journey participants were challenged to grow their skills, manage risk, adapt their plans, and enjoy plenty of fun along the way.
Well done to Cameron and the crew for making this adventure one to remember and for inspiring many future expeditions!.

💐⛺️Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mums in our 1st Balcombe Heights Scouting community!
Thank you for the early morning drop-offs, the late-night pickups, the last-minute finding of scarves, the packed lunches, the dealing with muddy clothes, the sorting of camp equipment, the sewing of badges (and re-sewing when our Scouts level up!) and most importantly the encouraging words, the warm hugs and the endless support.
Your kindness, patience, and dedication help make our Scouting community the amazing place it is.

ANZAC Day ceremony
This morning as the sun rose, our Scouts, Leaders and Group Leader marched and stood proudly at the Seven Hills RSL to honour those who served and continue to serve in defence of our nation.
With deep gratitude, we remember their sacrifice and pay tribute to their enduring values of service, courage, and mateship.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

"Great fun, less sleep more fun, minute to win it and also Big Tuna the champion" is how our Venturers described their time at Dragon Skin 2026.
1st Balcombe Heights was proudly represented by 2 patrols as nine of our Vennies took up the challenge and hiked for 4 days through the Belango State Forest, competing along the way at a range of activity bases run by Rover Scouts.
Dragon Skin is a highlight of the Venturer calendar, bringing together up to 1,000 participants in a different State Forest every year.
