🇮🇹 Festa della Repubblica 2026 🇮🇹

The Consulate General of Italy in Sydney was honoured to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Italian Republic, hosted by Consul General Dr Gianluca Rubagotti.

The event was attended by the Chief Guest, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, together with the Ambassador of Italy to Australia, H.E. Nicola Lener and his spouse Mrs Giovanna Mastandrea, alongside distinguished representatives of institutions, the diplomatic corps, business, cultural and community organisations.

Direct from Italy, acclaimed cellist Massimo Bertucci will take the stage alongside pianist Bradley Gilchrist and sopranos Catherine Bouchier and Sophie Mohler for an elegant evening celebrating the timeless operatic legacies of Gaetano Braga and Niccolò Paganini.
