Campbelltown Meals On Wheels and Housebound Resource Service Inc is a Food Service which delivers meals Monday to Friday, a Housebound Library Service and a Visitor Service for people who are frail aged or have a disability to enable people to continue to live comfortably and independently in their own homes. The Service covers Campbelltown Local Government Area surrounding areas. If you are an ND

IS participant then please ring and will will inform you if we cover your area. The Campbelltown Meals On Meals Service commenced in 1972 and since July 1992 the service had operated from the Meals On Wheels Centre at 91 Queen St, Campbelltown (the back of the old Library building). In 2021 the Service moved to its new premises at Ruse Community Hall. Meals are delivered 5 days a week with no lock in contract or stipulation of amounts of meals ordered. If you do not have a My Aged Care package then we can complete a referral for you. For those under NDIS please ensure you have meals included in your plan. Contact us:

Our wonderful knitting group is currently seeking donations of wool to help us continue creating handmade items for our community clients. Every ball of wool helps our volunteers craft warm, thoughtful pieces made with care and kindness.

If you have any spare wool at home — full or partial balls — we would greatly appreciate your support. Your donations can help bring comfort, warmth, and smiles to those in our community. 💛

Donations can be dropped off at our office during business hours. Thank you for supporting our amazing volunteers and helping us make a difference, one stitch at a time! 🧵

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the wonderful mums, grandmothers, and mother figures in our community. From delicious treats and lots of laughter to supporting our amazing local small business stalls, it was a morning filled with connection, kindness, and joy 💖

The role of a Volunteer Management Committee member is rewarding, collaborative, challenging at times and vital to the sustainability of our organisation.

We are seeking volunteers who may have experience and/or skills in the following:
• Strong commitment and motivation to be part of a team that steers the service forward.
• Community fundraising experience.
• Innovative and creative ideas, with the ability to work as part of a team, will be strongly valued.
• Previous Voluntary Management Committee experience.
• Be available to attend (in person at CMOW premises or via Microsoft Teams) Bi-monthly Management Committee Meetings held on the 3rd Wednesday at 11am – 1pm.
Other desirable experience and skills:
• Previous Office Bearer experience - President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Public Officer.
• Administrative skills such as:
Minute taking, policy development, strategic planning, reviewing and providing feedback on organisational documents.
• Financial expertise – accounting/book keeping.
• Marketing and Promotion
• Computer skills such as: Publication and Web design experience
