Importance of Building certificate...

Most owner builders request for these in order to get their house approved by council. Council is very strict and these clauses change over time.
If you don't have the building approved, council will fine you as it doesn't comply with Australian standards.

Most banks hold the final payments for owner builders if you don't provide a Certificate.

Certificates MUST be provided upon owners request and make sure it's the same company that has made and installed the balustrade.
