Taabinga State School is located on the southern outskirts of Kingaroy. Established in 1897 Taabinga State School caters for children from Prep to Year 6 in modern facilities. Taabinga State School has a reputation for providing quality education for all students and this is reflected in our growing enrolment. Enrolment vacancies exist in all year levels and

anyone may enrol regardless of residential location. Please contact the school office and arrange an appointment with the Principal and/or tour of our school.

Finishing the Term Strong

With the school holidays on the horizon and only a few weeks of Term remaining, it can be easy for everyone to start thinking about the break. But these final weeks are just as important for our students’ learning, growth and success.

At Taabinga State School, we want our students to finish the term as strongly as they started it. Continuing to maintain positive routines and high expectations helps students make the most of every remaining day.

We encourage families to support students by ensuring they:

⏰ Arrive at school on time and ready to learn

👕 Wear the correct school uniform

👂 Listen to and follow instructions

📚 Come prepared for learning

🤝 Continue to show respect to everyone

The holidays will be here before we know it!

Until then, let’s keep working together to ensure our students remain focused, respectful, engaged and ready to achieve their best.

Welcome to Week 9!

Please note that Tuckshop will be available Wednesday and Thursday this week, but CLOSED on Friday.

Students and staff are encouraged to wear yellow/black on Thursday to raise awareness of R U OK? Day.

Our Year 3 students are off on their excursion to Queensland Museum Cobb+Co this Thursday.

Lunch time clubs will be running as usual.

There were plenty of excited students at our Father’s Day Stall earlier this week, together with some very lucky students taking home some fantastic raffle prizes.

A huge thank you to our wonderful Taabinga State School P&C, Mrs Campbell and our fantastic student helpers for organising and running the stall. Our students had the best time shopping for gifts for their dads and other special people in their lives.

Wishing all of the amazing dads and father figures in our school community a very Happy Father’s Day! We hope you have a wonderful day celebrating with your families.

We’ll be celebrating the special father figures in our lives with a morning of Father’s Day crafts and fun activities.

Come along and enjoy a morning of play, creativity and connection in a safe and inclusive environment. We would love to see you there!

R U OK? Day is an important reminder to check in with the people around us, start meaningful conversations and remind others that support and connection can make a real difference.

Our school is so much more than just classrooms and lessons. It takes a dedicated and caring team to create the supportive, welcoming and vibrant school community we have — and we are incredibly grateful for every person who plays a part.
