NSW RFS - Frazers Cutting Rural Fire Brigade

Callout to Malabugilmah yesterday afternoon. Met up with Ewingar 2 and worked on a bush fire for a couple of hours until controlled. Good to catch up with some of the Ewingar team.

Frazers Cutting called to a fire east of Tabulam where we met up with Tabulam, Mallanganee and Mummulgum. Was a large pile which just needed a clear containment line around it. Once the situation was assessed we were stood down and returned to our station.

Fire Permits needed from tomorrow 1st August in Northern Tablelands District. If you are in Tenterfield Shire then this means you. Apply on line or contact a permit officer in your area.

Frazers Cutting Brigade with assistance of Drake, Pretty Gully and Tabulam Brigades will be burning a paddock on Chauvel Road Tabulam on Saturday, weather permitting.

This morning Frazers Cutting were called out to a grass fire started by a mower. Despite all the rain we have had the grass still burned. Let’s take this as a reminder to always take care.
