πŸ’™ Kindness When No One Is Watching πŸ’™

Last Friday, students at Tabulam Public School enjoyed some balloons from a special event. Unfortunately, one of our Kindergarten students, who catches a late bus, had their balloon pop and was understandably upset.

A much older student walking towards the bus lines heard the pop, immediately turned around, noticed someone was distressed, and without being asked, ran back and handed over their own balloon.

That is exactly what Tabulam Public School is all about – looking after others, showing kindness, and helping people even when no one is watching.

Your beautiful deed did not go unnoticed, Lily Rose Simon. We are incredibly proud of the compassion, empathy, and generosity you showed. You acted purely out of kindness and expected nothing in return.

Well done, Lily. You have a beautiful spirit, and you have reminded us all what it means to care for one another. πŸŒŸπŸ’™

πŸ“š Parent-Teacher Interviews – Wednesday 24 June πŸ“š

Parent-Teacher Interview notes were sent home yesterday. To help secure your preferred interview time, please return your completed note to Mrs Sonia in the school office as soon as possible.

Interview times will be allocated on a first in, best dressed basis, so the earlier notes are returned, the better the chance of receiving your first preference.

Appointments can be conducted either in person or over the phone if you are unable to attend the school. If the available times do not suit your circumstances, please contact Mrs Sonia, who will work with you to arrange an alternative time.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the interviews, please don’t hesitate to contact the school office.

We look forward to meeting with our families!

Our automotive elective boys at it again! πŸ”§πŸš—

Today the students were learning all about the vehicle water cooling system, including the important role of the water pump. The boys worked through the removal of the old water pump and the replacement and installation of a new one.

Great hands-on learning, teamwork and problem-solving skills on display. Well done boys and Brad!

In Term 2, we are inviting parents and carers to participate in the NSW Public Schools Parent Survey. The survey gives you the opportunity to share your experience at our school, including communication, inclusion, wellbeing and how your child’s learning is supported.
Hearing directly from our parents and carers will help us understand what’s working well and where improvements can be made. Participation in the survey is optional, your responses are anonymous, and it takes around 10 to 15 minutes to complete. You can access at the survey at https://surveyme.education.nsw.gov.au/sc/ReyW0xCSn6wsWpklC08Rpg2
Further information about the NPSS Parent Survey is available at https://education.nsw.gov.au/npss.
