Talgarno Primary School Talgarno Primary School is located on the shores of Lake Hume, 42 kilometres from Wodonga and serves the small rural community of Talgarno and Granya.

Walwa and Bethanga joined us today for a great day of exploring The Cosmodome! -
A giant dome where we explored the planets, black holes, the sun etc.
For our integrated topic, Space.

Students then participated in space related activities and games such as painting planets, meteor battle ball games, and making (and eating!!) the moon phases with Oreo biscuits!

What an amazing day at this year’s Cross Country events! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️☀️

Our students showed incredible determination giving their all!!!

It was was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm, teamwork, encouragement, and school spirit throughout the day. A huge congratulations to all students for their effort and participation — you should all be proud of yourselves! 👏

This week our students in 5/6 participated in a full day of personal development activities alongside senior students Bethanga.

The day focused on topics connected to our EQ and Respectful Relationships curriculum and was facilitated by Nicho and Mel from Youth Albury Wodonga (YAW) who brought plenty of energy, fun, and valuable learning experiences for our students.

A huge thank you to Youth Albury Wodonga (YAW) for fully funding this amazing opportunity. YAW is a volunteer-run charity dedicated to helping young people build confidence, resilience, leadership, teamwork, and community connection through outdoor adventure and youth development programs. 💙

Our students had a fantastic day learning, connecting, and challenging themselves!

🏀 School Sports Cluster Day 🏈🎾
What a fantastic (and very busy!) day at our School Sports Cluster Day.

We welcomed over 100 students from Bethanga, Mitta, Eskdale and Upper Sandy Creek for a full day of sport, teamwork and fun. The energy across the school was incredible!
Students rotated through a range of activities including:
🏀 Basketball sessions led by two Bandits coaches
🏈 Football skills and games run by Jay and Josh
🎾 Tennis activities and games on the courts

Students had an amazing day participating, learning new skills and enjoying sport together.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success!

We love seeing our cluster schools come together! 👏
