A decade of volunteer service is no small achievement. It represents commitment, sacrifice, and a genuine dedication to keeping our community safe. Richard, your hard work and reliability do not go unnoticed.

🔥💜 International Women’s Day — March 8 💜🔥

Around Tamborine, we know the best kind of strength comes with muddy boots, smoky gear, and a good sense of humour 😄

This International Women’s Day, we’re giving a big shoutout to the amazing women of the Tamborine Rural Fire Brigade who truly live the theme Give to Gain.

They give their time after long workdays…
They give up quiet evenings for training nights…
They give their all when the pager goes off across the village and surrounds.

And what do they gain?

💜 Rock-solid friendships
🔥 Skills that matter when it counts
🚒 Community pride (and yes… a few good station laughs along the way)

Whether it’s helping protect homes around the Scenic Rim, running the BBQ at community events, or jumping on the truck when needed, our brigade women are the real deal.

Today we say a huge thank you to the women who help keep Tamborine safe and strong.

Just when we thought we were the only Fire Brigade in Tamborine…
While out assisting the community with property inspections this morning, our crews stumbled upon an entire village. Complete with its own fire station and fire truck 🚒
Not sure if their response time beats ours, but it’s reassuring to know there’s backup if we ever need it!
