Today we celebrate all the dads in our community, especially those who give their time, make sacrifices, and quietly put others before themselves.

To our Rural Fire Brigade dads who leave their families to answer the call, and to every dad in our community who shows up, lends a hand and helps keep Tamborine strong, we see you, we appreciate you, and we thank you.

As we enjoy Father's Day with family and friends, please remember that fire danger remains elevated today. Conditions can change quickly, so we encourage everyone to stay vigilant, avoid activities that may cause a spark, and report any signs of fire immediately.

Thank you to our volunteers, families and community members who help keep our region safe.

🔥 RFSQ Week done right!🔥

While we're always ready to answer the call, this week we got to *stand down*, spark a few conversations, fuel up on great food and enjoy the company of the people who have our backs every single day.

Volunteering isn't just about fighting fires. It's about building friendships, supporting each other through the tough jobs, and taking the time to recharge so we're ready when our community needs us next.

A huge shout out to Walton Hotel for turning up the heat with your incredible generosity and hospitality. Your amazing staff kept the good vibes burning all afternoon and made our volunteers and their families feel genuinely welcome. You absolutely ignited a fantastic afternoon, and we can't thank you enough! 🔥👏

To every RFSQ volunteer, partner, child and supporter who came along, thank you. Behind every volunteer is a family that sacrifices weekends, holidays and precious time together, and today was a chance to give a little of that back.

Here's to the people who run towards the smoke, but know the importance of taking a moment to enjoy the calm between the calls.
