🔔 Beyond the Bell, Meet Miss Graham!

It’s time to get to know another member of the Chatham High team beyond the classroom.

🎨 What’s your hidden talent?
I went to art school, so I can paint, draw and even make my own books.

🍰 What’s your most controversial food opinion?
Happiness is more important than calories. Life is meant to be enjoyed, not spent worrying about your dress size.

📚 What did you want to be when you grew up?
An artist. I wanted to spend my days drawing and my evenings at fancy gallery parties talking about brushstrokes, or become a writer who could spend her life travelling on continuous book tours.

Miss Graham’s creative side will come as no surprise to anyone who knows her. She is an incredible English teacher and a true Drama extraordinaire, bringing stories to life with plenty of creativity, energy and imagination. We’re very lucky to have her as part of the Chatham High team.

Chatham High's Talented Athlete Program (TAP) aims to improve students 'on and off the field'.
This is achieved by timetabled skill development sessions, professional strength and conditioning, mental health workshops, sports psychology and resilience training, physiotherapy access, and sporting industry theoretical units.
Students will gain more opportunities to participate in organised events, enhancing their opportunity to participate in sporting matches/competitions, gain knowledge and understand pathways to professional sporting programs.
Students who are interested in applying for the 2027 Talented Athlete Program should complete this expression of interest ASAP.

This Friday Staff and Students are invited to come to school in their favourite Jersey to create awareness for Organ Donation Australia.

Additionally, at first break the SRC & Year 12 will be holding a BBQ behind Q Block to raise funds for our Seniors. $5 for a sandwich and can of drink.

We look forward to everyone representing their favourite sport and team.

Breakfast food is better at dinner, pancakes simply taste better after 6 pm.

I can identify English monarchs by their wigs.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
A teacher because being paid to talk about books and history seemed better than doing it for free.

Anyone who knows Mr Hannell knows that he has a genuine love of books, history and a good discussion. His knowledge, humour and passion for learning make him a valued member of the Chatham High team.
