Is this account monitored 24/7? Why can’t we answer every question? We will try our best to answer as many of your questions as possible but this will not always be possible. Truganina Fire Brigade is a 100% volunteer brigade and this extends to the maintenance of our page which is done by brigade members in their own time. Can I share information from this page? Yes, as long as you attribute the source. If a post and associated comments becomes very long we may change the page’s default wall setting from showing posts from everyone to only show posts from the Brigade. This allows people to immediately see the latest information posted by the Brigade.We may also delete comments that breach our moderation policy. Why has my comment been deleted? The Brigade has outlined its Moderation Policy below for using this page. If users post comments found to be breaching these conditions we may delete the comments. Why do people ‘like’ status updates about sad topics? When page users ‘like’ status updates about tragic events, it doesn’t necessarily mean they approve of them happening, ‘Liking’ an update is a way of showing support and appreciation of the information shared in the update.

Truganina Fire Brigade reserves the right to delete any posted content that we deem to be offensive, insulting or inappropriate. Unacceptable content includes, but is not limited to;
- material that is obscene, offensive, pornographic, vulgar, profane, indecent or otherwise illegal
- remarks that racially or religiously vilifies, incites violence or hatred, or is likely to offend, insult or humiliate others based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation or any physical or mental disability
- personal attacks, abuse and threats to cause physical or mental harm
- content which you know (or would reasonably be expected to know) is false, misleading or deceptive
- content that could be defamatory to any person
- any content not related to Truganina Fire Brigade or the CFA and their areas of responsibility
- posts or links to pages that contain the aforementioned material
