🚨 COMMUNITY NOTICE – CFA SHED SIREN CHANGES 🚨

Please be advised that the CFA shed siren will now only sound between the hours of 7:00am and 8:00pm.

This change has been made to reduce overnight noise impacts on nearby residents while still ensuring the community is alerted to incidents during daytime and evening hours.

Our volunteers will still continue to receive alerts through their normal paging systems.

We will also look to conduct monthly testing of the siren.

This will be done during the same time period and we will notify residents when this will occur via social media.

We thank the community for your understanding and ongoing support of our local CFA volunteers.

Cool mornings and sunny days! Perfect weather to get outside and get things done.

While we all might be preparing to burn off, please consider your ability to control it and ensure it is safe at all times.

Make sure you prepare your area and have water on hand.

Things are still dry and the dams are still empty.

If you have a burn off that gets out of control, you’re responsible for it and it’s a long way for us to refill!
