🚨 Call for Volunteers to Join the Tarzali Rural Fire Service! 🚨

We Need YOU!

Our brigade is low on volunteer numbers, and we urgently need more people to join the Tarzali Rural Fire Service to keep our community safe and prepared. Without enough volunteers, it’s becoming difficult to attend to community fires and emergencies when they arise.

🌟 Why You Should Volunteer:

Support Your Community: Your involvement ensures our brigade can respond when it matters most. We depend on local volunteers to keep our community protected.

Training and Safety: Training is essential for your safety and the safety of others. It ensures we’re all equipped and prepared for the challenges we face.

Flexible Participation: Callouts are entirely based on your availability—if you’re available - GREAT! If however you're unable to respond, we understand. It’s all about working together when we can.

Without volunteers, we cannot maintain the level of service that our community deserves. We need YOU to help us stay ready for action.

If you want to make a real difference and be part of something that truly matters, come join us. Together, we can make sure the Tarzali Rural Fire Service remains strong and capable of serving our community when we’re called upon.

Training is the last Tuesday of every Month January to November at 6:30pm except when we are on callout. Volunteers aged 18 to 80 or from 16 with a guardian.

To join the Tarzali Rural Fire Service either come on Training night or message me here.

Interconnected smoke alarms and fire escape plans save lives
Around 1000 families experience an accidental house fire each year. The best chance of surviving a fire in the home is having a practised escape plan, and interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms

🚒 Are you guilty of leaving doors open at night? The photo below shows the outward-facing door after a kitchen fire. The inward-facing door was completely destroyed.
The level of protection your doors give you in a fire depends on their quality, age and fire-protection qualities, however even the lowest quality door will give you vital time in a fire, but ONLY if they are SHUT.
Also make sure you have interconnected Smoke Alarms in your rooms!
Add closing doors to your night time routine
- it could save your life! 😎
