💡 Want to join VICSES but can’t commit to 24/7 call-outs? 🙌
You don't need to head out into a storm at 2 AM to wear the orange. Behind every rescue crew is a dedicated team keeping the unit running—with zero on-call requirements.
If you want to give back on a predictable schedule, we need volunteers for:
📈 Finance: Manage budgets, expenses, and accounts to keep our unit running smoothly.
📚 Training: Coordinate schedules and support modules to keep our crew sharp.
The best part? You get to be part of the crew, learn new skills, and make a massive difference—all on your own terms. 🧡

Next Thursday is the Great ShakeOut, a global event held each year to raise awareness around earthquake safety.

If you are inside during an earthquake, you need to DROP, COVER and HOLD ON!

Did you know that in 2021, we experienced a magnitude 5.9 earthquake in north-east Victoria, with over 35,000 felt reports? This quake caused widespread power outages and building damage. Only 3% of people knew to
DROP, COVER and HOLD ON to stay safe when the earthquake hit – a statistic that makes us tremble.

Make sure you’re prepared - register your
earthquake drill here: https://www.ses.vic.gov.au/great-shakeout-earthquake-drill
