Stannum House Tenterfield Stannum was built in 1888. She is constructed of triple brick on a foundation of granite. This beautiful home was originally built by John and Emily Reid.

John had many business interests including several tin mines around Emmaville.

Thanks to the amazing work of Dan Potter we finally have paint on the ceilings and walls in the entry, upstairs hallway,4 bedrooms and the upstairs lounge area. We are thrilled with the job Dan did, the quality of his work was outstanding.

Hi Everyone
Stannum House will be open for tours on the October long weekend. Saturday 3rd 9am - 4pm Sunday 4th 9am - 4pm Monday 5th 9am - 1pm
$10 Cash at the door. Guided tours will start on the hour or come and wander through at your leisure.

Hi everyone
Posting some photos of what we have been up to. Before and after shots of the bedroom floors we have sanded back and oiled. Hopefully the painter is starting tomorrow we have 4 bedrooms upstairs hallway and downstairs entry ready. Scraping and sanding the handrails on the formal staircase tedious work but very rewarding. Checkout the schoolroom walls and ceiling being repaired.
