The plan is a key way for the Victorian Government to be accountable for making all parts of the community inclusive and accessible for everyone.

POSITION VACANT
Day Program and Outreach Coordinator
38 hrs per week
Cooinda is a not-for-profit disability service provider based in Terang in South West Victoria offering a suite of supports including; residential, community participation, plan management and support coordination. We are a registered NDIS provider with accreditation to the NDIS Standards.
Roles & Responsibilities include;
• Management of a group program based in Camperdown supporting 5 to 6 participants on a daily basis; pursuing skill development and community participation to encourage greater independence, developing programs of support and individual supports, implementing behavior support strategies, working with OT’s and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Provision of outreach support to participants that receive in home or community based supports in the Camperdown and surrounding area
• Leadership - Responsible for the supervision of a team of direct support staff, providing clear direction, fostering a positive and safe work environment; and rostering of staff.
• Member of the Management team, implementing ongoing continuous improvement activities of the organisation including compliance.

Qualifications and skills required.
• Applicants must have Cert IV in Disability or equivalent; competent computer skills; current driver’s license and Level II First aid
• Previous Management experience preferred
• Experience in the disability sector essential

Cooinda is a smoke free workplace. The successful candidate must successfully apply for an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and hold a current working with children check.
Cooinda offers excellent salary packaging options including a meals and entertainment card and additional superannuation contributions. Pay rate Level 4 SCHADDS Award
