What a fun-filled day celebrating National Simultaneous Storytime!

Our students loved reading Luna Roo: The Kangaroo Baller ⚽️ by Adam Wallace and Adrian Beck alongside millions of children across Australia and New Zealand.

We wrapped up the session with a lively dance party to Shakira’s Waka Waka before heading into buddy groups to create some fantastic Luna Roo-inspired crafts!

Last term, our 3/4 students designed their own kindness projects, and today one of those wonderful ideas came to life with our very first ‘Wednesday Wackout’! 🍪

This special day was all about spreading kindness by sharing homemade goodies with other students. Today’s lucky classes were 3/4 and 1/2!

A huge well done to Tahnee, Penny and Charlie and their families for planning and supporting such a thoughtful act of kindness for our school community. We are so proud of your initiative, creativity and caring hearts!

Today our Stage 3–6 students proudly performed at the Shoalhaven Eisteddfod, presenting a beautiful medley of *One Love* and *Three Little Birds*.

It was especially meaningful to have our families involved, accompanying and conducting our students, such a wonderful example of our community coming together through music.

Congratulations to Shoalhaven Heads Public School on placing first in our section!

We are so proud of all our students for their enthusiasm, teamwork and outstanding performance. 🌟

The students in K/1 were very lucky to have a group of Year 12 students from Nowra High School visit our classroom as part of their Early Childhood studies. The students shared a range of engaging stories with the class and did a wonderful job encouraging discussion and excitement around reading. They especially loved listening to the stories, asking questions, and spending time with the older students. K/1 also enjoyed enthusiastically sharing their own stories and ideas with the visitors, creating lots of laughter and wonderful conversations throughout the session.
