Today, we were delighted to welcome the amazing author Toula Papadam for a special author visit. Our students thoroughly enjoyed listening to her wonderful stories and were captivated by her engaging and entertaining way of bringing each story to life. Toula’s enthusiasm, warmth and expressive storytelling had the students laughing, listening and eager to hear more. It was a fantastic experience for our students, and we are so grateful to Toula for sharing her love of stories and reading with us!

Today, we were incredibly fortunate to welcome the incredibly talented Kirli Saunders to our school!
Kirli worked with our Stage 2 and 3 students in engaging creative writing workshops, encouraging them to explore Visual Poetry and express their connection to places that hold meaning for them.
Students combined words, symbols, imagery and creative techniques to create unique pieces of poetry that represented somewhere they belong to and connect with.
It was wonderful to see our students thinking creatively, sharing their ideas and discovering new ways to tell their stories.
A huge thank you to Kirli for inspiring our young writers and showing us the power of poetry, storytelling and connection to place.
