This month we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of our Young Adult Wing. Our Library was founded by sisters Hilary & Janet for children as the new local school had no Library. It soon grew to cater for adults. A Rotary Club was founded & one of its members had a teenage child who was told to read if any educational advancement was proposed. Lack of room at the Library was limited, so only a few books suitable for older children were purchased & became part of our Kindergarten/Junior collection. Certainly not ideal for a teen. Rotary decided to gift us a special room. With a limited budget, they rolled up their sleeves & created something special. If you have not visited us, please come & share our delightful well stocked room. It has been likened to Tardis!
