2026 NSW Premierโ€™s Reading Challenge Closing Soon!

Congratulations on your completion of the 2026 NSW Premier's Reading Challenge Adelind, Ryan, Maddison, Charlotte and Jan.

The Challenge closes to students on Friday 18 September 2026 so that entries can be checked and validated by the closing date, Friday 25 September 2026. Books you read after the Challenge closes can count towards next year's Challenge.

The following steps can be used to access the STUDENT PORTAL and enter Student Reading Records electronically:
1. Go to https://education.nsw.gov.au and click on Log in > Student portal.
2. Type in studentโ€™s User Account ID and Password and click SIGN IN.
3. On Student Portal click PREMIER'S READING CHALLENGE.
4. On the PRC page, click LOG IN then the image.png Book Worm.
5. At the BOOK WORM page, click the MY READING LOG link.
6. Enter your books by Title.

Students have been shown these steps at school but your help at home is invaluable.

Please Note: Students in Years K-2 complete the Premierโ€™s Reading Challenge in class with their classroom teacher.

Year 3-6 students read 20 books in total, 10 of which must be PRC titles and up to 10 Personal Choice books.
