Tinbeerwah & District Rural Fire Brigade � � Tinbeerwah Rural Fire Brigade is a volunteer organisation and part of the Rural Fire Service Queensland. New members are always welcome.

Tinbeerwah Rural Fire Brigade protects the community west of the range at the top of Cooroy Noosa Road to the township of Cooroy, south to the end of Sunrise Road and north to take in Forest Acres.
*** In an emergency, call Triple Zero (000) *** You can send us a message or come to our training session:
- every FIRST Tuesday of the month: 7pm - 9pm
- every THIRD Sunday of the month: 8am - 10am

Fire Permits: In QLD Fire Permits are required for all fires greater than 2 metres in any direction. An application for a ‘Permit to Light Fire’ is made through your local fire warden. To find out more:

Training day for the new P3 masks. Excellent technology, but you need to know how to use and clean. 1 per seat on all trucks plus 1 per seat spare at station. When we get the infrastructure set up (dedicated basins, drying cabinet) we are good to go!

Even after the rain, there is still a lot of dry grass underneath and windy weather doesn't help.
