Just a quick reminder for us all to check we have WORKING SMOKE ALARMS in our homes.
The importance of these little life savers, and the difference they could make for you and your loved ones safety, cannot be overstated.
So please, please, please, check your smoke alarms.
*Simply press the button to test them.
*If they don't work replace the battery.
*If the detector is more than 10 years old replace the whole thing.
*If you can't replace them yourself, or if you need assistance in anyway with your smoke alarms -call your local fire station and book in a Home Fire Safety Visit and we'll do it for you!

A safety visit can assist in helping you reduce the risk of an accidental fire in the home and safely escape it.

Come down and see us this morning for some fire safety fun! You'll find us out the front of Redhead's Quality Bake and Sip Social HQ Redhead from 10-12. There'll be handouts for the kids, a fire truck to check out and some winter home fire safety tips and info for the big kids.
If you can't make it today we'll be here, same time same place next Saturday aswell 🚒☕️🥧🧋👨‍🚒🔥

Winter is Here ! We know it doesn't quite feel like it with this unseasonably mild weather... but it still means there's some important things we'd like you to think about to keep you and those you love safe.

Things like :
-Keeping items 1 metre from any heater -
- Always have a fire escape plan-
- Never leave cooking unattended-
-Never charge electronic items on blankets or pillows -
- If you use electric blankets check them for damage before use-

We'll be out and about handing out fire safety goodies for the kids, with a fire truck display and some winter safety info for the big kids. Next two saturdays 27th June and 4th July out the front of Redhead's Quality Bake and Sip Social Smoothies and Teas Cowlishaw St Redhead 10-12 . So come down and say gday and grab some goodies.

A fire can spread rapidly and be devastating, even fatal. In under 3 minutes, toxic smoke and flames spreading through your home will put you and your loved ones at serious risk.
