“One Campus, One Culture, One Heart.” Hon David Janetzki MP.

Concordia Lutheran College Toowoomba celebrated a new chapter in their 80 year story. In 1946 there were 27 students today on one campus P to 12 there’s close to 700 students.

🙌🏽 Congratulations to Head of College Mr Anton Prinsloo (pic 3) and everyone who shared the same courage and belief to achieve this significant milestone.

The brief to the design and construction teams for the new Primary School was to ensure learning spaces were everywhere - inside and outside.

There’s many great outcomes from this project including using local builders Watcon Building Group Joe and Sarah Watson, pictured with the State Treasurer, and former Concordia student, the Hon David Janetzki MP, are over the moon that the project took out the recent Master Builders Queensland Downs & Western Housing and Construction Award for Education Facility.

🙌🏽 Supporting young people to become positive role models.

It was a pleasure to join (l to r) Julie Inskip (Vinnies Youth Coordinator), Andrew Johnson (UNISQ Student Guild), Dr Mark Copland (Vinnies QLD), Alexis Wendt (Vinnies volunteer and teacher at Mary MacKillop Catholic College) and Peter Rubie (Winter Shelter Toowoomba).

The, mostly year 11, students are part of the Vinnies Youth Ozanam Leadership Program and were all a delight to meet.

They meet monthly and have organised a social program for vulnerable children. They have given up Wednesday evenings and some of their holiday time; all in their quest to become better, more compassionate leaders.

🙌🏽 Founded by the Hon Tony Abbott AC and lead into the Toowoomba Mothers’ Memorial site today by the Hon Angus Taylor MP.

In 2026, Pollie Pedal is supporting The Krait Foundation, a Wandering Warriors initiative dedicated to helping Special Forces veterans and their families prepare for life beyond
military service.

It was a privilege to present Angus with a Toowoomba Violet pin and share the story behind the Mothers’ Memorial.

😍 This is a “Love Story”!

Dhriti and Shiva met while studying engineering at University of Southern Queensland in 2015.

Dhriti became an Aussie today and she works as an Environmental Engineer at Egis

Shiva, already an Aussie Citizen, is a Mechanical Engineer
and Project Lead at RUSSELL MINERAL EQUIPMENT

They married in 2023 and are very proud parent to 9 week old Shambu.

Shambu’s grandma, Kamala, is visiting from India 🇮🇳 and was very excited to be present for the Citizenship Ceremony.
