Our Year 3 students had a fantastic hands-on day at the Wilsonton SHS Agriculture Centre! 🪱🌱 They tested soil from different areas and discovered our school vegetable garden’s soil is acidic.
Thanks to the centre, we brought back worms to help improve our soil—learning was messy and fun!

🦁 Something Roarsome is Coming to Wilsonton SS! 🦁

We have something very exciting planned for kindy-aged children later this year, and we can’t wait to share it with our community!
Families who enrol with us for Prep in 2027 will be the first to hear all about this special opportunity and receive exclusive updates as details are released.

If your child is starting Prep in 2027, now is the perfect time to secure their place. Enrolment packs are available from our school office, and our friendly team is happy to assist with any questions you may have.

This term in Year 2, we have started each day with a Strong Start through our Check-In Circles and calming morning activities, helping us feel ready to learn.

We have been building our reading and spelling skills through whisper reading, sounds and actions, and learning to spell our Lead and Red words.

In English, we have been exploring story characters and learning how to "Bump Up" our writing by using more exciting vocabulary. Did you know that Cinderella danced gracefully with Prince Charming?

In Maths, we have been investigating number patterns, skip counting, time, calendars, addition and subtraction, and developing our confidence as mathematicians.

Our Science learning has taken us on a journey through space and the solar system, helping us understand how shadows are formed. Learning about the phases of the moon has been especially delicious!

We've been enjoying connecting with one another while getting creative together lately, and we'd love for you to join us.
