Kalabara have been working hard during our daily learning reviews in phonics, reading and writing. Each day, we revisit previously taught content to help move our learning from short-term memory into long-term memory, strengthening what we know and can do.

Our students have become so confident with these routines and are showing great pride in their learning. We are particularly proud of the way every student is willing to take risks, have a go and persevere when learning feels challenging. These whiteboard work samples showcase the effort, growth and positive learning habits that are helping our students succeed every day. Well done, Kalabara! โญ๏ธ

๐Ÿซ๐Ÿธ Freddos for Fiji ๐Ÿธ๐Ÿซ
Mana and Tommy are students from Biraban Public School and play for the Hunter Hurricanes 9s team. They have been given the amazing opportunity to travel to Fiji in 2027 to compete in the Vuvale 9s Tournament ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‰
This trip will allow the boys to experience a new culture, visit local schools, and represent their club on an international stage while supporting the growth of junior footy in Fiji.
To help make this dream a reality, Belinda and Alex are selling Freddos to raise funds for travel expenses. If you can help out by selling a box of chocolates, please contact the school or Belinda Ritchie. We have a couple of boxes in the canteen that we will be selling throughout the term to support our students.
Thank you for your support โ€” every chocolate sold helps get the boys one step closer to Fiji.
