Important Announcement

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let you know that I’ve decided to close down J&T Supporting Homeless as of the 26th of February.

For the past 5 and a half years, running J&T Supporting Homeless has been both incredibly demanding and deeply fulfilling. It has required a lot of time, energy, and heart, and while the work has meant more to me than I can put into words, it now feels like the right time to step back.

It’s time for family, holidays, and some much-needed me time.

I want to send a massive, heartfelt thank you to Trish for her help in the beginning, to everyone who has donated, volunteered, shared, supported, or helped J&T in any way over the years. None of this would have been possible without you, and I’m incredibly grateful for the community that formed around this work. Please note we are no longer accepting donations.

Thank you for being part of the journey and for the impact we were able to make together.

Every act of kindness, big or small, has helped provide hope, dignity, and care to people who need it most. We are incredibly grateful to be part of a community that truly shows up for one another.

📢 NEW FOOD DONATION DROP-OFF POINT!

We’re excited to share that Woolworths Pialba is now an official collection location for non-perishable food donations.

If you’d like to contribute, simply place your items in the dedicated collection cage inside the store. Our team will handle the rest.

A Special Thank You

I just wanted to take a moment to thank my amazing team for all your support, time and enthusiasm. You are all so appreciated, and I’m truly grateful for everything you do.

To those who come on the rounds with me - thank you.
To the couple who make up the coffee packs - thank you.
To the two people who make the sandwiches - thank you.
And to Billy, who has helped me with so many jobs or anything I ask for - thank you.

You each play such an important part in keeping everything running smoothly, and I appreciate you more than you realise.

We now have a donations drop-off at Coles Pialba Place!

Located on the left-hand side of the entrance near the trolleys, it’s ready to collect pantry items like canned goods, pasta, rice, and other non-perishables.

Next time you shop, consider adding a little extra to your trolley and popping it in the collection point. Every item helps support our local community. Thank you for your support!
