Recently we saw our LT Mark Reid successfully complete the Respond to Urban Fire course, along with members from Boisdale Fire Brigade and Traralgon West Fire Brigade.

This intensive course qualifies members to conduct internal structural firefighting operations. It covers many topics such as search and rescue, fire suppression tactics, smoke ventilation, and much more.

With Mark now qualified this enhances our capability to support at structure fires along with our other RUF qualified members.

We congratulate Mark on this achievement 🔥.

🚒 We Are Recruiting!! 🚒

🔥 Traralgon Fire Brigade is currently looking for new volunteer firefighters.

🧯 If you are someone who wants to contribute to your community, we want to hear from you!

🧑‍🚒 Volunteer Firefighters at Traralgon CFA respond to all types of emergencies including bush/grass fires, structure fires, rescues, hazmat incidents and much more 24/7.

⛑️ All of our volunteers come from different backgrounds with varying levels of experience and availability. We need more volunteers to ensure we are able to continue to grow our capacity to support our local and larger Victorian community.

📚 There is no experience required for this role! All training and required PPC etc is provided. All we need from you is your time and commitment! We train Tuesday nights at 7:30pm.

A great resource for everyone present tonight ranging from 1st night through to 30 years service including a visit from on shift FRV crew to have a look

A basic scenario to just start wetting the lips of members to get them thinking about a range of topics.
