It’s Phillip Edwards’ final weekend at the gallery, and what a pleasure it has been to share his outstanding body of work and creative energy over the past six weeks.
Phillip will be at the gallery today, so if you haven’t yet seen his exhibition, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience the work and meet the artist in person.

The Gallery team are super excited to announce our second ‘artist in residence’ Steve Lees. He’s impeccable work can now be viewed at the gallery as of today . Steve Lees is a ceramic artist based in Trentham, Victoria. His practice explores material transformation through processes of erosion, exposure, and weathering, drawing on the subtle ways objects and landscapes are shaped by time. Using wheel-thrown and hand-built techniques, he investigates the relationship between material, process, and place.

Jill Noble’s amazing artwork will be on our walls until the 20th of this month. Her pieces have been warmly received by the public, and it’s been a pleasure to exhibit her work at the Little Gallery. If you haven’t visited yet to view them it’s a must see .

“I enjoy playing with composition, in particular simplifying and editing. My narrative often comes from landscape, both the visual experience and the feeling.

Rose wilson will be in the gallery this Friday and Saturday. Call in to view many of her new works now on display. We are also very proud to congratulate Rose for being selected in the Lethbridge Salon De Refuse with a stunning landscape of Uluru. All of her current work displays new vibrant colours instead of the earthy tones used in her previous works. Rose is enjoying this new process and is happy to discuss her recent colour palette and techniques with you. The Little Gallery is thrilled to welcome back Kay Goldfinch as our Featured Artist. Her work proved incredibly popular during her previous exhibition, with the public eagerly acquiring many of her pieces. The gallery presents a stunning new collection of works that reflect Kay's distinctive style and artistic vision

Kay's hand made ceramics are inspired by textured forms such as sea creatures, seed pods plus natural scavenged objects from the sea, waterways and forests.Her preference is to use white stoneware or porcelain clays as their whiteness enhances the detail nature of her work.Pieces are decorated by the use of stains, oxides and various glazes to highlight the desired effect.
