The Bureau of Meteorology advises Wallis Lake at Tuncurry peaked below the minor flood level on the high tide Friday evening. Minor flooding is no longer expected in Wallis Lake at Tuncurry.

Based on predictions from the Bureau of Meteorology, the following areas may be impacted by floodwaters:

You should stay informed by monitoring warnings issued by NSW SES on their website and page, listening to your local ABC radio station, and checking the latest weather information from the Bureau of Meteorology online.

What are we expecting?

The Bureau of Meteorology advises minor flooding possible at Tuncurry Friday evening on the high tide.

Moderate to locally heavy rainfall recorded in the Wallis Lake catchment since Thursday afternoon has caused river level rises along the Wallamba River at Nabiac and Wang Wauk River at Willina.

The combined flows from the Wallamba and Wang Wauk Rivers may result in minor flooding in Wallis Lake at Tuncurry Friday evening, on the high tide.

Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Friday, which may lead to additional river and lake level rises.

Based on predictions from the Bureau of Meteorology, the following areas may be impacted by dangerous floodwaters:

- Low lying areas adjacent to the river

What are we expecting?

The Bureau of Meteorology advises a broad trough over northern and eastern NSW is expected to generate widespread moderate rainfall and thunderstorms over the next few days. A low within the trough is expected to result in heavy rainfall for parts of the Hunter and southern parts of the Mid North Coast from late Thursday.

Minor flooding may develop from overnight Thursday into Friday along the Manning and Gloucester. Uncertainty remains in the location of the heaviest falls, and the Flood Watch area will be revised over the coming days.

Catchments in the flood watch area are moderately wet.

Based on predictions from the Bureau of Meteorology, the following areas may be impacted by dangerous floodwaters:
