📢 Notice – Tynong Support Team Page Update

The Tynong Support Team page will soon be closing and merging with the Tynong Fire Brigade - CFA main page on April 1st 2026

To keep everything in one place and make it easier for the community to stay updated, all future posts, updates, events, and information will now be shared through the tynong main page.

🔥 Tynong Fire Brigade Support Team Meeting 🔥

The Tynong Fire Brigade Support Team will be holding a meeting this Thursday 19th February 2026 at 7:30pm in the Brigade meeting rooms,

📍 47 Nar Nar Goon–Longwarry Road, Tynong

Our Support Team plays a vital role in assisting the Brigade with non-firefighting duties such as:
🌿 Gardening and general maintenance
🧹 Cleaning and upkeep of the station
🎅 Organising community events like our very popular Santa Photo Days

If you’re interested in supporting your local Brigade in a hands-on, community-focused way, we’d love to see you there!

Community Call for Donations – Supporting BlazeAid 🚒

The Tynong CFA Fire Brigade has been asked to support BlazeAid with donations of:
• Bottled water
• Juice packs
• Cans of soft drink

BlazeAid is a volunteer organisation that helps farmers rebuild fences destroyed by natural disasters and is currently working hard in fire-affected areas across Victoria.

We’re asking our amazing community to help if you’re able.
📍 Drop-off location: Tynong Fire Station
🕔 Time: 5:00pm – 6:00pm daily
📅 Until: Sunday 15 February

Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference to volunteers and farmers on the ground.

Good evening members and Tynong Community, 👋

Our Brigade will be deploying a support crew to the Longwood fire area on Friday 🚒. To support community members who have been impacted by the fires and are unable to leave their properties, the Brigade is seeking donations of essential items, including toiletries, towels, children’s books, and toys 🧸📚.

Donations can be dropped off at the local Tynong Post Office,

Any support from our local community is greatly appreciated 🤝❤️
