🚨 National Emergency Alert Test – Monday at 2:00 PM 🚨

We would like to advise our community that a National Emergency Alert Test will take place at 2:00 PM on Monday.

As part of the test, Emergency Alert messages may be sent to compatible mobile phones.

If you or someone you know has a secret or concealed mobile phone that is kept for safety reasons, we recommend switching it off before hand to help ensure your safety and privacy.

A huge thank you to Edithvale CFA for bringing there MCV on the long drive out to Tynong and taking the time to show us through this fantastic resource.

It was a great evening with members from Tynong, Nar Nar Goon, Bunyip and Bayles CFA, providing a valuable opportunity to learn more about the MCV's capabilities, share knowledge, and strengthen the relationships between our neighbouring brigades.

We really appreciate everyone's time, effort, and willingness to share your experience.

Today is Thank a First Responder Day 🚒🚓🚑🚨🛥️
First responders are ordinary people. They have families, friends, commitments, and homes to go to at the end of their working day. Yet, they dedicate every day to protecting our communities and keeping us safe.

Being a first responder can be challenging, for both first responders and their families. But the power of gratitude can have an extraordinary impact on wellbeing and mental health.

So join us in thanking ALL first responders for looking after our community.

Tynong CFA together with the Tynong community, Would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended the ANZAC Day service.

A special thank you to our local Veterans, RSL, local students, representatives from HMAS Cerberus and the Shire of Cardinia for your support and participation in making the service so meaningful.

Your presence helps keep the ANZAC spirit alive within our community.

🚒 Tynong CFA Community Notice – ANZAC Day Service 🇦🇺

Tynong Progress Society together with Tynong CFA would like to advise the community of the upcoming ANZAC Day Service in Tynong.

📅 Saturday, 25th April 2026
📍 18 Railway Avenue, Tynong
🕥 Service commences at 10:30am

We encourage everyone to come along and support this important occasion as we honour and remember those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

We are honoured to have a speaker and catafalque party from HMAS Cerberus attending.

☕ Please bring a plate of food and stay for morning tea with the community following the service.

🚒 Exciting News for Tynong CFA! 🚒

We’re thrilled to hear the breaking news that a brand new Bulk Water Tanker will soon be built and stationed right here at Tynong!

With its massive capacity, cutting-edge features, and ability to probably supply half the shire (we assume 😉), this new addition will take our firefighting capabilities to the next level.

We’d like to thank… well, whoever made this completely real and definitely-not-April-Fools decision happen!

Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare a very large parking spot…
