Hi all the brigade had its AGM on the 7th May and elections of officers for the coming year 26/27. The line up is Rod Durney Cpt for another year, Ian Williamson Snr Dep, Dayna Wood, Alan Brigganshaw and John Crean Dpt Cpts, Mitch Heath president, Katrina Heathcote treasurer and Catherine James secretary.
At the meeting there was a presentation of The Premiers citation to a number of our members for the efforts they gave during the 22/23 NSW floods congrats to Dayna, Eric, Rob, Alan, Marcus, Steve and John, congratulations and thank you for your community support.
Congratulations to our leaders for stepping up again as well.

The Brigade would like to congratulate our mates at the Ulmarra SES Unit for getting back on line and operational as of Wednesday night. Great job boys and girls getting accredited and operational again. Unit Commander Steve and his Dep Kevin have done a great job in getting the unit up and running again. We look forward to working side by side in the future. Well done.

The brigade attended the Wild Drake fire yesterday giving a hand to all the crews out there. The fire started ANZAC day by accident from a resident trying to burn a small pile. It is a reminder to all to make good preparations if intending to burn I.e. clearing around the area to burn and have a back up plan to keep control. The pics show the unwanted results of no forward planing.

Picnic in the Park today!

Come along from 2:30–5:30 pm for a great afternoon with live music by Eli Fahey!

Ulmarra RFS will be serving up a free BBQ thanks to Grafton District Services Club, and Maclean Hot Bake.

There’ll be pony rides, face painting, a petting zoo, and games for the kids. La More will have all your coffee needs covered.

Thank you Ulmarra village inc and CVC for organising this community gathering. This event is held in memory of Lisa Ward, whose hard work helped make it happen. When you see the sunflowers, take a moment to remember her. 🌻

The Brigade is proud to announce the placing of an AED on the front wall of our station, for public access. We would like to thank the Ulmarra Hotel and the Friday night meet raffles for the funding, and the community for the ongoing support.

The Brigade would like to congratulate Meg and Aaron for passing their BF assessment recently and Ian being promoted to Dep Captain at a specially convened meeting. Welcome aboard Meg & Aaron and congrats to Ian.
